h MSc in International Business Richard Ivey School of Business, London, Canada The Richard Ivey School of Business invites applications from St. Xavier’s College students with a background in business to their MSc in International Business, and for the 2014 St. Xavier-Ivey Scholarship. The Ivey MSc in International Business is a 16-month, pre-experience programme which includes a fourmonth work experience (internship) in Canada for overseas students. The next intake starts in January 2014. You may study in the Ivey International Business track, in which case you do all studies at Ivey, and graduate with an MSc. Alternatively, you may take the CEMS MIM track, in which case you graduate with both the MSc and the MIM designation from CEMS. CEMS (Community of European Business Schools and partners) is a consortium of 28 top management schools around the world, who offer a joint Masters in International Management (MIM). In this programme at Ivey, you must study at Ivey and at least one semester at one of the other 27 CEMS partner schools, and must meet the additional language and other requirements of the MIM. Member schools include Bocconi University in Milan, Copenhagen Business School, ESADE in Barcelona, HEC Paris, and London School of Economics. For a full list of partner schools, and information about the MIM, see www.cems.org. Since its inception, the CEMS MIM has been consistently ranked in the top three of the Financial Times pre-experience Masters programmes (other top-ranked MSc programmes are offered by CEMS members themselves), and in 2012, Ivey was honoured to be voted the “CEMS School of the Year” by students, based on a comprehensive survey of all aspects of the student experience. The Richard Ivey School of Business is one of Canada’s oldest business schools, and its programmes are renowned around the world. The St. Xavier-Ivey scholarship is in the amount of $20,000 to be applied to the international student tuition fee of $50,000 ($55,000 for CEMS). One scholarship is available each year to a qualified candidate. Paid internships of up to $15,000 are also available on a competitive basis.
