WIBRD 2017 ENTREPRENEURS SCHOLARSHIPS
Are you an entrepreneur or up and coming businesswoman in the Green Triangle area who has demonstrated entrepreneurial potential through setting up a new business, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit. If so, We Want You! To support the establishment and fostering of entrepreneurs and up and coming business women in our region Women in Business & Regional Development are offering scholarships to two entrepreneurs and/or up and coming businesswomen in the area who demonstrate entrepreneurial potential through setting up a new business, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit along with ongoing involvement in networking. WIBRD are offering two scholarships valued at over $1500 each to entrepreneurs and/or up and coming businesswomen in the Limestone Coast & Green Triangle area who demonstrate entrepreneurial potential. The Scholarships will take place over the course of 2017 and will be directly aligned with the Women in Business & Regional Development events and training whereby the recipients of the scholarships will be supported and guided in their business pursuits by the WIBRD network. The scholarship will look to ignite the potential in the recipients by offering access to a network that support like-minded women to get together in a supportive environment to provide relationships to enhance business, develop friendships and strategic alliances. WIBRD endeavours to be an identifiable and respected source of community and regional perspectives, sought by policy makers and drivers.

Individual 2017 WIBRD Membership Free ticket to the WIBRD Launch on February the 24th 2017 Free Ticket to the Influential Women in Business Gala Awards on August the 4th 2017 Free Tickets to 4 of the Empowering Women in Business Breakfasts Free Tickets to 2 of the Professional Development Events Free tickets to all WIBRD 2017 Training Events A 2 hour mentoring & strategy session with high profile and experienced business women within the WIBRD network who align with the industry and needs of the recipients.
CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS 3rd February 2017 NOMINATION FORMS Available on our website www.wibrd.org.au/scholarship ELIGIBILITY The scholarships are open to women over the age of 18 years who are actively pursuing a business or entrepreneurial goal, have an ABN, business name registered and be in the establishment phase of business. Applicants must be an individual or Australian registered business owner (this includes partnerships, franchises and companies) They must reside and operate their business in the Green Triangle region of south east SA and western Victoria.

JUDGING Judging will take place prior to February the 10th 2017. The winners of the scholarships will be announced at the WIBRD Launch on February the 24th 2017. The Judging Panel will have the final decision and no correspondence will be entered into.
