2.1 BBC One The new BBC One logo features the iconic ‘swirls’, a feature of BBC One presentation since 2006. The swirls are set in the familiar red colour that viewers have come to know and love.

2.2 BBC Two The new BBC Two logo focuses on the new slogan: “there are two sides of every story”. This new ethos is represented by a three dimensional cube, in which we can see two sides of the cube. The cube shape can have images inserted in it to create a unique way of promoting programmes.

2.3 BBC Three The new BBC Three logo features three bars, representing the online only channel’s principles (Make Me Think, Make Me Laugh and Give Me A Voice). The bright pink colour shows the playful nature of the channel.

2.4 BBC Four The new BBC Four logo represents the new slogan “looking closer at the story”. The square shape represents zooming in. BBC Four retains the primary colour it launched with in 2002, black.

2.5 CBBC CBBC uses a variety of bright colours in its new logo to catch the attention of older children. The main letter ‘C’ contains the individual letters ‘CBBC’ within it.

2.6 CBBC CBeebies adopts the new BBC style but its logo, well familiar with younger viewers, remains unchanged. The logo features a CBeebies ‘bug’ reading.

2.7 BBC News BBC News incorporates the world into its logo, a feature of BBC News presentation for over a decade. BBC News retains its iconic red colour.

2.8 BBC Parliament The new logo for BBC Parliament incorporates the ‘cogs and gears’ that have been part of BBC Parliament’s presentation since the channel’s launch in 1998.

2.9 iPlayer BBC iPlayer retains its well recognised and well known logo with its distinctive pink colour.

2.10 BBC Sport BBC Sport uses a silhouette of two runners for its new logo, set in the classic yellow and black BBC Sport colours.

2.11 BBC Weather The new BBC Weather logo features clouds rolling across the sky, with the clouds taken from the BBC Weather map. The new logo is set in the classic BBC Weather blue.

2.12 BBC Store The BBC Store was launched in November 2015 as a replacement for the outgoing BBC Shop. The BBC Store offers the chance to buy and keep thousands of hours of BBC programmes from across the years. The service is represented by a logo featuring a shopping bag with a download icon on it.

3.1 BBC DOG (Digital Onscreen Graphic) The BBC logo appears on all BBC channels, within the 16:9 safezone and set at a 75% opacity. The DOG appears on screen during every programme, 24 hours a day.

3.2 Opening Credits The BBC logo now appears during the programme titles, always centre justified and in the same place for each programme.

3.3 End Credits The BBC end credits for a programme are now always set on a black background with white text. All text is centre justified, and the relevant programme URL appears at the bottom of the screen.

3.4 Credit Squeezing At the end of a programme, credits are often ‘squeezed’ to show viewers what’s coming up next. Credits will now be scaled down to 25%, and moved to the bottom left corner.
