The Big Tsk Card Tour Terms & Conditions 1. The competition is open to Registered users of the Metropol 24/7 Discussion Forum (“Members”)(“Metropol”) who registered for the service before Monday 5th of April 2010 and are resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland. a. Members who have been banned from the forum are not eligible. 2. Entry to the competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 3. To enter the competition you must post your photo from your account in the appropriate thread along with details of the location it was taken in. Whilst photos can be uploaded by mobile to services such as twitpic the entry will only be deemed valid once it is included in the thread. a. Users are STRONGLY advised to make use of the Metropol Upload Service so as to prevent any third party deletion / problems with images and to create an automatic thumbnail. 4. General Photo Competition a. To enter this competition you must submit a photograph of the TSK Card in an amusing or interesting place. i. Extra points will be awarded if the TSK card appears in a place/event related to politics and the General Election. ii. What is judged amusing or interesting is entirely at the discretion of the judges. b. You do not have to appear yourself in the photograph although there is nothing preventing you from doing so. c. This is a real photograph competition and not a Photoshopping one. The TSK card must be physically at the location photographed. Digital manipulation of the TSK card into the image will be viewed as cheating. i. Whilst cropping and colour correction are acceptable alterations we reserve the right to ask for the original image in case of suspicions about its authenticity. d. The TSK card must be clearly identifiable as a TSK card, excessive customisation or integration into other graphics may result in your entry being deemed invalid. i. The TSK card must not be used to endorse or disparage a particular candidate or party.

5. Television Appearance Competition a. To enter this competition you must get the TSK card to be visible on election or news coverage from major UK television and post a capture of the broadcast. b. “ Major UK Broadcast Television” (Television) is defined as below: i. Only an appearance on BBC TV, ITV, STV, UTV, Channel 4, S4C, Five, Sky or CNN will be deemed acceptable. ii. Only appearances on the News or Election broadcasts of these networks will be considered. 1. Appearances on regional output from these networks e.g. Look North or Granada Reports is also acceptable. iii. Edge cases will be entirely at the discretion of the judges. c. A screen capture or video of the appearance MUST be posted in the thread. Footage from catchup services e.g. BBC iPlayer or 4OD are acceptable however internet footage exclusively online (e.g. a video that only appears on the BBC News website) will not. i. If you are not able to provide evidence of the appearance, or if someone is not able to provide it on your behalf your entry will not be considered. d. You are STRONGLY ADVISED to take an additional photo of yourself in the location with the TSK card to help validate your entry. e. EXAMPLES: An appearance on an outside broadcast for Sky News IS acceptable. An appearance on “The Real Hustle” on BBC3 is NOT acceptable. i. An appearance on a TV show not covered by Rule 5b will be considered alongside the normal competition entries under Rule 4. ii. However in the event of no entries being made under Rule 5b, then all TV appearances entered will be considered for the TV prize instead. f.
You must not engage in disruptive behaviour or anything illegal and/or antagonistic towards the television crew or others in an attempt to get the TSK card featured. Any entry that involves such disruption will be deemed invalid and the entrant risks their membership if they bring Metropol into disrepute by their actions.
g. You do not have to appear yourself in the footage although there is nothing preventing you from doing so. h. The TSK card must be clearly identifiable as a TSK card, excessive customisation or integration into other graphics may result in your entry being deemed invalid. i. The TSK card must not be used to endorse or disparage a particular candidate or party. 2|Page
6. SPECIAL PRIZE: The special bonus prize of £50 cash is available to anyone who can get the TSK card featured on the BBC Election Night set and shown on TV a. The “set” is defined as the set in Studio TC1 at Television Centre. b. Only an appearance within the confines of this studio will be deemed acceptable to win the special prize. c. You are STRONGLY ADVISED to take an additional photo of yourself in the location with the TSK card to help validate your entry. d. Only an appearance on screen will be eligible for the special prize. e. An appearance during the BBC Election Broadcast that is NOT within the studio, e.g. at a polling station OB, will be considered alongside the normal TV competition entries. f.
In the event of more than one person managing to achieve this then the winner shall be drawn from a hat.
7. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery is not proof of receipt. 8. The closing date is 23:59 on Monday 10th May. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered. 9. If you are banned or warned by the moderators for misbehaviour on the forum during the period of the competition you risk being disqualified from the running. 10. Whilst entrants will not be asked to give their name, address or telephone number to enter, those winning prizes will be asked to provide this information in order that their prize may be posted to them. If this information is not given within 7 days of the closing date then the winner shall have forfeited their prize and the judges may select another winner. 11. The prizes are as follows a. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. 3|Page
13. No purchase necessary. 14. Metropol accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. Metropol further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. 15. The judges are: Gavin Scott, Hymagumba, Isonstine & Sput. 16. In the event of a dispute over an entry the judges’ will decide on the outcome. 17. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence shall be entered in to. 18. The competition is run by Metropol 24/7 and shall be governed by Scottish Law.
