Dear

r Squires

Fun House, Challenge TV, 1 August 2011, 09:00 Thank you for contacting us. We've noted your objections to the above programme being sponsored by Sky Bingo and we acknowledge you felt this was inappropriate . We contacted Sky, who is responsible for the compliance for Challenge TV, to obtain a recording of the programme. In providing this material, Sky "sincerely" apologised for this "uncharacteristic sponsorship mistake" and said it became aware of concerns at the time the episode was shown on 1 August. In light of the situation, Sky said it pulled the final sponsor credit for the second episode of Fun House. Sky informed Ofcom that it has stopped all further instances of Sky Bingo sponsoring Fun House and that it is ensuring the Sky Bingo sponsor credits are only shown around programming that does not have appeal to children or has been made for children. Given the action taken by Sky in this matter, and being mindful neither that Challenge TV (or this programme) has a particular appeal to children, Ofcom does not believe further regulatory action is warranted on this occasion . Thank you for taking the trouble to contact us on this issue.
