Darwin Shorebird Community Workshop A day of all you ever wanted to know about shorebirds

What to bring: Binoculars, a scope if you have one, suitable footwear for walking on unsealed paths, water bottle, sun-smart gear, clothing for inclement weather. BirdLife Australia’s Threatened Bird Network and the Shorebirds 2020 Project invite you to a FREE day-long workshop where you will learn everything you ever wanted to know about shorebirds. Learn about the diversity of shorebirds in the Darwin region. Hear about their 11,000 km trip to get here, the threats they face both here and overseas and how you can give them a helping hand. Morning tea and light lunch provided.
