Justin Snell is a Director in our Disputes, Valuation and Forensics practice. Justin’s forensic experience includes fraudulent financial reporting, employee misconduct, and public corruption investigations. Additionally he has extensive experience in designing, implementing and evaluating anti-fraud programs, performing compliance program reviews, and providing litigation support including damage calculations, post purchase price disputes, economic analysis and privileged consulting. Prior to joining Bennett Thrasher in 2013, Justin spent 12 years in the forensic practice of a big four accounting firm. He began his career in 1996 as an auditor where he planned and performed financial statement audits and reviews of public and private companies in a number of industries. Justin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) as designated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). He is a contributing author to Managing the Risk of Fraud and Misconduct: Meeting the Challenges of a Global, Regulated, and Digital Environment (ISBN-10: 0071621296). Justin speaks publicly on a number of occasions to specialized industry groups, trade seminars, and student organizations and regularly conducts internal training related to various forensic accounting subjects.
