APSE and Project SEARCH are pleased to present:

Students for APSE 2016 Sunday-Monday, June 19-20 In Conjunction with the 2016 APSE National Conference Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza • Cincinnati, OH Students for APSE (SFA), offered in partnership with Project SEARCH, is a unique two-day program for high school students with disabilities. The program teaches students career strategies and provides hands-on experiences to prepare them for independence and success in the workplace.

Who Should Attend   

High School Transition Students looking to learn from recent graduates about the world of work. Parents and Families of high school students who want to have a chance to connect to other parents who are in a similar place as well as connect and learn from families who have helped their son/daughter navigate services after they completed high school. Transition Teachers looking to add employer engagement tools to their toolbox and as well as learn about post secondary education opportunities for their students.

Event Schedule Sunday, June 19  11am-Noon: Registration and Check-In  12-1:30pm: Lunch and Opening Keynote and Welcome by APSE Executive Director Allison Wohl and Project SEARCH Founder and Director, Erin Riehle  1:30-5pm: Concurrent sessions for Students, Families and Transition Personnel 

Monday June 20  8:30-9:00 am: Continental Breakfast  9:00-12:15 pm: Project SEARCH: Short presentations with Employees and Managers in the program
