Come to the Spring 2014 Sustainability Roundtable
Monday, April 28, 3pm Business Building Room 213 Scott Kellogg from the Radix Ecological Center Scott Kellogg, the Educational Director of the Radix Center, will give an introduction to the basics of permaculture. Following the discussion, Scott will lead a hands-on workshop on window gardening. Located on a ½ acre former vacant lot near downtown Albany, the Radix Center promotes ecological literacy and environmental stewardship through educational programs based around demonstrations of sustainable technologies. The Radix Center teaches practical skills that can be applied to create environmental and economic sustainability. An emphasis is placed on issues of food security, health, and the remediation of contaminated soils.
