Dear Parents/Guardian, We have a counselor working on site at our school. Marcy Siegler Lederman, MSW, comes to us through Yehi Ohr, a program of Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS). Mrs. Lederman brings her valuable experience in both academic and clinical settings. She will be available to work with our students and staff once a week through June 2018. Mrs. Lederman will provide the following services, on an as needed basis:
Perform classroom observations and suggest behavioral plans for teachers to implement Engage in individual support with students to develop problem solving skills and help promote learning in the classroom Provide parenting education and support Facilitate group counseling focused on building social skills
Since one of the services Mrs. Lederman will be providing is individual support, if you do not want your child to meet with the JCS counselor, please sign below and return this form to the school office as soon as possible.
