Performance Evaluations Annual

All certificated staff members must be evaluated annually by a trained evaluator.

Performance Evaluations Objec+ve   Data -  Objective measures of student achievement and growth should significantly inform the evaluation. -  Student performance results from statewide assessments (ISTEP/ ECA) are included in evaluations of employees whose primary responsibility is teaching tested subjects -  Locally developed assessments and other test measures are included in evaluations

Evaluation plans must include rigorous measures of effectiveness, including observations and other performance indicators.

Performance Evaluations Four   Categories An annual designation of each certificated employee must fall in one of the following rating categories: 1.  Highly Effective 2.  Effective 3.  Improvement Necessary 4.  Ineffective

Performance Evaluations Feedback   and  PD Based on the annual observations and results of the evaluation, certificated staff should receive recommendations for improvement and include the time in which improvement is expected. This feedback should include job-embedded, targeted professional development . This professional development can be supplemented with corporation Title IIA funding.
