REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
Members Present: Chairman Bruce Azevedo, Vice Chairman Roger Tench, Treasurer Gerry Burdette, Director Josh Chandler and Commission Chairman John Scarbourgh
Others Present: Executive Director/Secretary Marvin White, Attorney Victor Johnson, Utilities Director Steve Shaw, Madison County Water Sheila Kethley and District 1 Commissioner Lee Allen
1. Meeting called to order by Chairman Bruce Azevedo. Motion to amend the agenda to add Cost of Living for employees. Motion made by Roger Tench and seconded by Gerry Burdette. Yes votes carried by Azevedo, Tench, and Burdette. Chandler abstained to vote. 2. Motion to approve the minutes of December 19, 2016 meeting as submitted. Motion made by Gerry Burdette and seconded by Roger Tench. Motion carried yes vote by Azevedo, Tench, Chandler and Burdette. 3. Chairman Bruce Azevedo ask for a motion to approve Financial Reports. Motion made by Roger Tench and seconded by Gerry Burdette. Yes votes carried by Azevedo, Tench, Burdette and Chandler. 4. Water Requests: None 5. Sewer Request: None 6. Utility Director Report: a. Billing Report: Steve Shaw gave report. 7. Other IDA Related Issues: a. The Water Service Agreement with the City of Danielsville was revised and approved. Motion made by Josh Chandler, seconded by Roger Tench. Yes votes carried by Azevedo, Tench, Burdette and Chandler.
b. Marvin ask for a motion to approve 3% Cost of Living raise for employees as included in 2017 budget. Motion made by Roger Tench and seconded by Gerry Burdette. Yes Motion carried by Azevedo, Tench and Burdette. Chandler abstained from voting. 8. Closed Session to Discuss Personnel Matters and Land Acquisition: None 9. Adjourn: Motion to adjourn by Roger Tench and seconded by Gerry Burdette. Yes votes carried by Azevedo, Burdette, Chandler and Tench.
