RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF MADISON COUNTY, GEORGIA For the purpose of promoting the health, safety, and general welfare of the present and future inhabitants of Madison County and to further the purposes of the Madison County Zoning Ordinance as set forth therein, the Board of Commissioners of Madison County does hereby ordain and enact into law the following changes to the Zoning Ordinance. The following Section from R-2, Conditional Uses shall be deleted: Section 7.5.2.1 Private Schools. The following is to be added to R-2, Permitted Uses: Section 7.5.1.12 Private Schools are required to submit all required plans and permits to the Planning & Zoning Department (see Section 6.8.1). All building planes as required under the Madison County Zoning Ordinance are to be submitted to Building Inspection. All buildings must meet the required set back as required for that zoning classification. Landscaping as required under Section 6.2.3.6 The provisions of this resolution shall be effective upon approval by the Madison County Board of Commissioners.
