Question Charts Question Charts are NOT easy to create. You must first understand the patterns of questions, the language of the field, and the way information is organized in your course. Creating the chart takes you beyond simply “memorizing” information and toward thinking critically about what you are learning. It is a much more active way to study than highlighting and re-reading your notes and text. Before you begin creating a chart, look closely at the information provided in your syllabus, class notes and text. What are the common themes in your course?
