2019 YEAR-TO-DATE The Company is off to an excellent start in 2019. Overall, our Q1 operating income is 33% above budget and 20% ahead of the prior year. Each operating group stepped up. TRP has completed two acquisitions so far this year. RPS continues to grow, adding over 370 units in Q1. CPM has a net increase of 700,000 square feet of new business. Our Brokerage business, led by the Richmond office, is booming coming in 16% over budget. We’ve also added 38 new associates across the company YTD. Welcome to the team! THALHIMER GIVES Q1 has been an exciting and busy quarter for Thalhimer Gives. Thanks to those who have donated your time, money or supplies to great causes in our local communities. Keep up the great work!
SUMMER FRIDAYS Get excited, Summer Fridays are just around the corner! Summer flex hours start the Friday after Memorial Day and end the Friday after Labor Day. Details are forthcoming from your manager on participation. CYBER-ATTACK The recent cyber-attack on our company was disruptive to all of us. Our antivirus software and protective measures already in place prevented major damage. All company and client financial and banking information was protected. I want to thank our technology staff. Laura, Justin, Brandon, Daniel and Carl put in a herculean effort. Cyberattacks have unfortunately become more prevalent in the business world. The company will implement measures to help protect us from future attacks. Thanks for your patience as we move forward with the remaining loose ends.
