- It is July 1998 and hopefully you are enjoying the warm summer weather! In case you did not receive our first edition of Partner Pulse you should know that you are one 350 customers that have been enrolled in Ingram Micro’s Premier Partner Program. The Program is a yearly sales and marketing support program that provides you with unique services and exclusive offerings to help you increase your buying and selling power. For the next 10 months this newsletter will keep you up-todate on participating vendor specials, program components, and demo offerings. If you have not received your copy of the program booklet through the mail or handed to you by your Ingram Micro Sales Representative please call (416)740-9404 ext.5450 today. Points Program • This program allows participating resellers to earn Points based on their total Ingram Micro sales, which may be used at Ingram Micro to “purchase” a variety of valuable services. Based on the dollar value of total purchases, these points can be used to “pay” for such items as training, air shipments, fulfillment charges, configuration and 9:00 a.m. delivery. The following is an example of how points are earned: 1) Customer ABC ‘s sales in the period of January 1st- March 31st = $300,000 2) Points calcuation - $1000 sales = 1point 3) Therefore Customer ABC has 300 points • RULES: To access to your earned points, please complete the top portion of the redemption form and submit it along with the Ingram Micro invoice confirming your payment for the service. Please fax the claim form to the Premier Partner Program Assistant, Ingram Micro at (416) 740-2536 for fast processing and credit applied directly to your account. All redemption/claim forms will be sent to you with your first statement at the beginning of July.

Upcoming… Within the next year you can look forward to the following: 1) July 1998 – Your first co-op/ opportunity funds statements have been sent to your company’s location. If you did not receive a statement please call (416)740-9404 ext.5450. 2) Monthly focused specials that are unique to three participating vendors each month. This month they are Microsoft, Corel, and Iomega. 3) Q4 1998 - A yearly business awards program that recognizes your sales with Ingram Micro and participating vendors. During the 34 day business get-away! You will have an opportunity to meet exclusively with vendor partner’s, and industry leaders for future business planning and information sessions.
