Program Assistant Full time M-F, occasional weekends and evenings Hourly Paid vacation and sick time. No health insurance

Send cover letter and resume by January 5, 2016 to Rebecca Rienzi, [email protected] The Program Assistant is responsible for supporting all of Pathfinders’ programs and will complete tasks needed to meet their goals and outcomes. They will take direction from the Director of Programs. Primary Areas of Responsibility Include: 1. Answering phones and directing calls accordingly. 2. Maintaining the online resources database, calendar listings, electronic registration systems and the Pathfinders for Autism Resource Center Library information. 3. Managing the content, creation and dissemination of electronic newsletter and event invitations. 4. Conducting research for web content and articles. 5. Updating web content as directed. 6. Supporting outreach events/awareness presentations and displays. 7. Supporting all tasks related to preparing for and implementing all of PFA’s events and campaigns 8. Managing office duties such as supply inventory, ordering and basic IT 9. Other duties as assigned Skills and Knowledge: • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office – with emphasis on Word and Excel and comfort with database required • Strong web-based research and fact finding skills required • Strong writing skills required • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign preferred • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Team-oriented, flexible, willing to refocus efforts based on needs of the organization • Creative problem-solver • Must be detail-oriented • Knowledge of autism and/or developmental disabilities is preferred

Pathfinders for Autism is Maryland’s largest autism organization dedicated to helping individuals, parents and professionals find resources, supports and training while working to increase the awareness of autism spectrum disorders and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
