Transfer of Membership
Financial Assistance
PEFAC allows you to transfer your membership to a family member or friend. Payment can be made by either party and new financial information must be provided immediately in order to transfer. Both participants must be present to complete the transaction.
The Prince Edward Fitness & Aquatic Centre strives to serve all segments of our community. If you or your family would benefit from using the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre, yet are unable to pay the full cost you may apply for assistance. The Prince Edward Fitness & Aquatic Centre Financial Assistance is for those who are unable, not unwilling, to pay the full fee.
Membership transfer fee is $25 + gst.
Suspension Insurance If you are planning an extended trip, surgery or any activity that will not allow you to use your membership for up to 3 months. Your EFT withdrawals will remain as scheduled for the remainder of your 12 month agreement. The time you are unable to use your membership, up to 3 months, will be added to the end of your membership without payment. The PEFAC suspension program can only be purchased within the first 6 months of your 12 month membership term. There are no refunds with suspension program payment and they can only be applied to 12 monthbased memberships. 1 purchase per year.

The suspension fee is $50 + gst.
Fitness, Friends & Fun! Cancellation Fees If cancellation of your membership is required, the member must sign a cancellation form and pay the current cancellation fee before the 25th day of the month. NOTE: All outstanding payments will be required to be paid prior to cancellation. Cancellation fee is $50 + gst. Cancellation can be accepted without charge on the membership anniversary date. For details, please enquire with PEFAC staff.

Electronic Funds Transfer Membership (EFT) Memberships are established on a continuous monthly basis using pre-authorized chequing. For your convenience, monthly payments are renewed automatically each year, unless you otherwise notify PEFAC in writing before the 25th of the month. Memberships may also be paid in a single payment for one year.
