Dear Members, The Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (“ASHK”) – Consultation Professional Conduct Code As part of the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong’s initiative to establish the ASHK as a Statutory Body, ASHK Council is taking steps to upgrade the existing Professional Conduct Code which was first issued to ASHK members in 1997 and applicable to all members. The Professional Matters Committee was appointed by Council to undertake a comprehensive review. After much effort the Professional Matters Committee produced the attached revised Professional Conduct Code. It is the intent of the Professional Matters Committee to reformulate the Code as a high level, simple, yet effective code with annotations to five basic principles: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5)
