Town of Lakeshore’s Canada Day 2013 Monday, July 1st, 2013, Community of Woodslee Visit www.lakeshore.ca events calendar for entire day’s activities

PARADE ENTRY & RULES

Parade officially starts at 3:00p.m. We ask that all participants arrive no later than 2:30p.m. for the line up starting at Country Road 27 south of the CN tracks in Woodslee Note: Road closure at Country Road 8 and South Middle Road between 2:45pm and 4:00pm Please check in with Parade Marshall – Donna Roubos will have on hand participation waivers that must be signed by all participants. Line up begins off of County Road 27 south of the CN tracks in Woodslee and heads northerly to South Middle Road then easterly onto South Middle Road to Millen Community Park grounds. All floats can proceed to park via entrance for display.

Rules and Regulations: The Town of Lakeshore’s Canada Day Committee reserves the right to not accept any applications deemed not appropriate for its intention. The line up is on a 1st come 1st serve basis as seen appropriate by the Parade Marshall. One entry may consist of: walkers tractors/floats/trucks/emergency vehicles.

Please note that no participant in this parade shall throw any object or item, including candies from a moving vehicle or float. Handouts and items exchanged between participants in a parade and by-standers shall be done in a safe and orderly manner well clear of vehicles and floats while walking. Participation Waiver I am aware that there are always risks associated with participating in a parade. Having knowledge of these risks, I hereby assume all risk of injury, damage and liability arising from such activities. I hereby release the Chair and all volunteer members of the Town of Lakeshore’s Canada Day Committee 2013 and or other organizations involved, the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore, its officials, employees, volunteers and agents and waive any right of recovery I might have to bring a claim or lawsuit against them for any personal injury, death, or other consequence occurring to myself or my group and any and all equipment or motorized vehicle or vehicle of any type as a result of participation in any activities. Further I grant full permission to any and all the foregoing to use any photograph, video, film or record of my participation. I agree to all terms and conditions.
