RESOLUTION NO. 2013-15 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING A CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE FY2012-2013 CALLE LA CRUZ/CRESPI COLLECTION REHABILITATION PROJECT -oOoWHEREAS, the Board has received and reviewed staff reports and verbal testimony and determined that the public convenience and necessity require the rehabilitation of the Calle La Cruz wetwall, in conjunction with the Crespi sewer line rehabilitation; WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for said Project as prepared for the District, are on file in the District offices and have been discussed this date with the Board by the District Manager; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Carmel Area Wastewater District, as follows: 1.
That the plans and specifications for the FY 2012-2013 Calle La
Cruz/Crespi Collection Rehabilitation Project are hereby approved. 2.
That sealed proposals or bids are hereby called for with regard to the aforesaid
Project. 3.
That the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the District is hereby directed
to publish a Notice requesting bids for the aforesaid FY 2012-2013 Calle La Cruz/Crespi Collection Rehabilitation Project once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation published in the District. Said publications shall not be less than five (5) days apart and the first publication shall be at least ten (10) days before the date fixed for the opening of bids. Said Notice shall refer to the plans and specifications on file in the office of the District Secretary.
