The garden should be located in an area where hikers are not likely to find it. Pricker bushes, mud and steep hills are all people deterrents. Cultivating near young bushes also helps camouflage your marijuana in the Autumn when surrounding plants are going brown and marijuana remains green.

Marijuana needs a lot of sunshine. Your growing site should have a minimum three hours of direct sunshine daily. Marijuana will grow more rapidly with around 4.5 hours of sunshine daily. The less sunshine the marijuana gets the slower the growth and less the yield. If there is less than 3 hours of direct sunshine at the marijuana patch then tin foil may be put around the marijuana to reflect more sunlight on the plants. If you are in a low light area this will

make a big difference. Marijuana also seems to react better to morning sunshine than afternoon sunshine. Bear in mind when selecting a garden spot, do not plant your valuable cannabis seeds directly into soil. Start the cannabis seeds indoors and transplant seedlings outside. The soil is of course an important factor when determining a garden. Marijuana prefers a soil that drains easily and has a pH of approximately 6.5. Marijuana soil should clump when you squeeze it and crumble easily when you poke it. Sand, or perlite may be added to soils that do not drain well. The ph of the soil should also be kept around 6.5. If the ph is too high then the cannabis will not be able to absorb nutrients properly. Low ph also causes more males to be produced. The ph can be increased by adding hydrated lime. The lime is very slow to work so use it during a minimum four weeks before planting. Ph can be lowered by adding sodium bicarbonate to the soil. Levels of the water table at the growing site should also be noted. If the level of water is too high and the soil is too wet the marijuana roots will not obtain enough oxygen and fail to reach its full potential. If the water level is too low then the soil will become parched quickly and you will have to water more frequently. If the garden is too wet then the marijuana should be grown in containers. The larger the better. The marijuana should have a 1 inch layer of sand for good drainage. The rest of the pot should be topped off with potting soil. A close source of good clean water is also useful. If there is no water nearby in the area for watering then large water containers should be partly buried. These will accumulate enough rainwater for watering. If you have to carry water to the grow site then do it at night and water the next morning. Irrigating after dark or late evening will double the chance of developing a fungus problem. Any equipment required for watering or plot maintenance should be left out of sight at the grow patch. Many animals love to eat tender marijuana plants and if you don't want your marijuana to be animal snacks then you must keep them away. Human hair and blood around the place can help. If you could, put up some kind of fence. When the plants are still low to the ground a drinking glass can be placed on top of them to act as a humidity tent and to keep rodents and deer out.

Part 2: Getting proper cannabis seeds Cultures have been growing marijuana for ages and, as a result, countless varieties can be used by a grower. There are numerous professional seedbanks that stock many seeds. Be sure to obtain a cannabis plant that will survive in your part of the world. If you know the time of the first frost of the year select a marijuana type that will be ready for harvest before then. If you are farming for profit then the amount

of bud per plant is important as well. The plants with the biggest crops are grown near the equator where the sun is warmer and the growing season is longer. If these marijuana types are chosen they must be nursed inside above 40 degrees latitude.

Part 3: Choosing seeds and sprouting After choosing your cannabis seeds and the growing site is ready you may start sprouting the seeds. There are only two ways to sprout the seeds: planting the seeds where they will grow, or, sprouting the seeds in paper towels and moving them into temporary pots.

To plant the cannabis seeds grab a pencil and jab the point half an inch into the soil. Place each seed into the hole. The seed needs to be covered with soil and moistened with a mild solution of high phosphorus fertilizer. Mark the spot where the seed was put so you don't forget. Allow every seed 1 sq M of space. If given less, when they develop into large marijuana plants they will overshadow nearby plants and the final size will be stunted. It is very important not to let the soil dry out at this point. When the soil is dry water with clean water. The first young plants and cotyledon will be apparent in about 7 days. Keep watering when the soil feels dry and after another week the first node of leaves become apparent. If you want to sprout in tissue then get a flat pan and cover it with a couple of strong tissues. Wet them completely and distribute the seeds on the tissue. Cover with another three layers of tissue and cover the whole deal with plastic wrap. Put it in a darkened place. Keep checking daily for signs of shoots and don't let the tissue dry out. Once the pale root on a new shoot is 1/4 inch in length then it can be placed in a small container. The small container should be filled with the same growing medium as the marijuana plant is to be raised in till harvest. Push a sharp stick two centimeters into the grow mixture. Insert the young seedling with the new root facing down and cover gently with growing medium. Keep it wet with a fertilizer with significant phosphorus values. Keep the soil damp. Within a week the the first leaves will become apparent followed by the spiked leaves about one week later.

Part 4: First growth and feminizing Now the marijuana plants should be on their first or second spur of marijuana shaped leaves. Make sure you water if the earth is lacking moisture. Be certain your plants are safe from herbivores. Don't forget to be vigilant for mould. Any plants with mould evident should be disposed of at once. Be careful not to shake the marijuana plants because the mould spores will become airborne and spoil plants near by. If you are using small pots,

transplant when the 4th series of spiked leaves comes into existence. Once the marijuana plants have matured half a dozen nodes they will benefit from being fertilized with a complete fertilizer. The young marijuana plants may also be sexed at this stage. To determine this, a piece of a black bin liner should be secured at the end of a branch using twist ties.

Apply it so that the branch gets 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. Within 21 days the male plants will have what seems to be little balls forming on the branch.

The females will have two tiny white hairs growing from a young calyx.

The males may now be destroyed and you can be certain a bunch of female marijuana plants. Remove the black bin liner from the branch of the female and it will resume growing again.

Part 5: Main Growth of the Plant The marijuana plant should at this stage be firmly rooted. Water when the growing medium is dry around three inches under the surface. Mist lightly with insecticide and apply again after rainfall. Fertilize the marijuana every three weeks or so.If the plants receive plenty of sunlight and gets all the food and water they need, then it is not uncommon for marijuana plants to grow almost two inches a day. If signs of a deficiency become apparent, refer to the table of nutrition for causes and a cure. Be aware not to over fertilize. The soil ph should be repeated once again. The ph should to be a little lower than it was before sowing. If the ph is beneath 6.2 water with wood ashes until the ph returns back to 6.5.

As the marijuana plant gets older the root system will become effective at delivering nutrition to the maturing plant . You should start foliage feeding presently, i.e. applying nutrient solution straight on the leaves. Leaves absorb nutrients just as well as the root system. When you begin to spray the leaves, reduce the fertilizer to 50%. Obtain a quality sprayer and set it to the fine misty setting. Leaf feeding is best to be accomplished in early morning hours when the marijuana leaves stomata remain open. Any later than this and the stomata (pores) will be closed. The leaves should be gently sprayed with the fertilizer mix. Avoid drenching the leaves. Twenty four hours after foliage feeding the leaves should be sprayed yet again with water to remove remaining nutrients from the leaves. Some trimming will probably be useful at this stage of growth as it helps regulate branching and maintain the marijuana plants' size. Trimming may not be needed for some strains. Other strains grow more shoots on the stem and some pruning will probably be useful to encourage additional flowering bud generating branches. Light pruning is a good way for increasing yield and help keep the plants inconspicuous and harder to be detected. Prune with sharp clean snips. When you trim the branch two new shoots will start growing from that point. Never take away more than six inches when cutting back.

Part 6: Flowering Flowering is set off in marijuana when the time-scale of uninterrupted night time reaches a certain length. The actual amount changes from plant to plant but an estimate is twelve hours of daylight and twelve hours of darkness. Take care if you visit your garden after dark as minute amounts of light, even that from a feeble torch will destroy the chemicals that starts flowering and the plants will revert back to green growth. If you should visit after at night be sure not to use any light. Much better to visit in day light hours.

If you removed the male marijuana plants beforehand, you have little more to do than wait. However, if the male plants are still present then maintain vigilance. Once you can figure out the sex, the male must be taken out to stop it from fertilizing the female plants. When male plants start to show, the female plants will soon start to appear. At this point feeding ought to be minimized and applied at 1/4 of its usual strength. Marijuana plants require larger quantities of phosphorus during budding. Use a fertilizer that is greater in phosphorus . Part 7: Bringing in the bounty Around now the female buds will be maturing every day. The right time to harvest the plant is when around 3/4 of the developing white pistil hairs are turning brown. Study the crystal-like resin on the leaves using a magnifying glass. The resin crystals should appear yellowish right before you harvest the marijuana. If they remain clear the marijuana has not achieved maturity.

If they are somewhat brown that means the resin development is past the best point and potency is on the decline. Prune away the branches and pack them in sacks. Remove the large leaves that grow near the bottom - they are unsuitable to puff. Careful not to disturb the plants too much because the resin with THC will break away. Proceed by removing all the large foliage and methodically work your way up to the cannabis buds. The fine trimmings surrounding the buds will dry out, then put them into a plastic freezer bag and place in the ice box compartment. Trimming is completed when only the marijuana buds remain.

Hang the buds in an unlit and draught free area and maintain at room temperature. The weight loss will be approximately 70 - 80% which can make the the room humid. Any draughts or drop in heat will introduce fungus which almost certainly will decay the buds. Keep a check on the buds every day. After five to eight days, the buds will be moisture free and they can be removed from the marijuana stems.

Once the buds are bagged, take out the excess air and seal-up. Place in a cool, dark place. For longer term storage, store the buds in a deep-freeze.

Conculsion: Where to get the best cannabis seeds Unless you live in Amsterdam or someplace similar, the best selection of cannabis seeds can be found on-line. But how do you know a good seed bank from a bad one? The ugly truth is that there are a number of unscrupulous cannabis seed banks out there lurking on the Internet. The worst ones will take your money and send nothing in return. The bastards know you probably won't go running to the police to complain. Thankfully, there are only a few rip-off cannabis seed websites like that. Most on-line seed banks will send you seeds if you pay for them – but quality of seeds can differ considerably … The seeds can be old, not of the correct strain you selected (seeds look alike – easy to get mixed up), or contain males when you paid extra to get feminised. There's a small number of quality seed banks that we've come to depend on. • • • • •

They always send the correct seeds (of the strain you ordered). They are always fresh and ready to germinate. When they say 'feminised seeds' it really means they will all grow to be female plants. They offer quick and discrete delivery worldwide. They can be easily contacted if you have questions.

There are a few cannabis seeds banks that check all the points above. We list them below with hyper-links so you can click on the name and check out their seeds on-line. Happy shopping :D. Best On-line Cannabis Seed Banks Seedsman
