Scarborough ScarboroughEast EastSite Main Site PROGRAM FOR ALL AGES (birth - 6 years old) Circle of Friends: This is a interactive program for referred families with children with various abilities and developmental needs. For more information or referral, please contact Rukiyah at (416) 735-6066.

Friends at Play: This is an interactive program for parents, caregiver and their children. This play based program allows children to engage in different hands on activities including, sensory tables, crafts, cognitive activities and much more.

Family Time: This is an interactive program for parents, caregiver and their children. Come spend quality time with one another and play in our main room, which has different play stations available for all to use.

Library Time: This is an interactive program for parents, caregiver and their children. Come spend quality time with one another and play in our library lounge, which is filled with books and puzzles available for all to use.

Together Time: This is an interactive program for parents, caregiver and their children. Staff provide learning activities, such as creative arts, sensory table and music circle, as well as information regarding child’s development, community resources and much more.

PROGRAM FOR SPECIFIC AGES DROP-IN PROGRAM Baby Music (birth - 18 months): This is an interactive program for parents, caregiver and their children. Staff will introduce nursery rhymes, songs and finger play to promote speech and language development.

PARTLY REGISTERED PROGRAM Requires parents/caregivers to register for programs 30 minutes before the program starts. Limited space is available. Cognitive Toddlers (24 - 36 months): This is an interactive program for parents / caregivers and their children. This program focuses on providing learning through play opportunities and promotes cognitive, language and social development.

Music Makers (birth - 6 years old): This is an interactive program for parents / caregivers and their children. The first 16 children to sign up may participate in this music and movement focused program.

REGISTERED PROGRAM Parents register for programs during registration week. Only children enrolled into the program can attend. Indoor Camping Fun (4 - 6 years old): This is an independent program where children can enjoy camping activities like crafts, a scavenger hunt and s’mores making!

Parent/Child Activity (2 - 3 years old): This is an interactive program for parents / caregivers and their children. This program will focus on activities that both adult and children can enjoy together. The focus will be to promote positive interactions between the parent and child.

Little Chefs (4 - 6 years old): This is an independent program where children will enjoy preparing and eating a tasty and simple recipe., which they can make at home.

Story Time (3 - 4 years old): This is an interactive program for parents / caregivers and their children. In this program, children will have the opportunity to listen to a story and participate in related activities and crafts.

Minute to Win it (4 - 6 years old): This is an independent program where children will be competing in 60-second challenges with household objects for a chance at some cool prizes.

Leprechaun Adventures (4 - 6 years old): This is an independent program where children can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with activities that include a craft, circle time and a search for a Pot of Gold that a little leprechaun left behind. Don’t forget to wear green!

Leprechaun Olympics (4 - 6 years old): This is an independent program where children will participate in a variety of gross motor activities centered around themes from Irish folklore and St. Patrick’s Day traditions.

ADULT PROGRAMS, WORKSHOPS & SERVICES Registration for parenting workshops can be done online. Babies Need Books Too: It is never to early to read to your baby. What’s going on when you read with your baby? Brain development, language promotion, strengthening your relationship, having fun! Songs and rhymes and book sharing with babies throughout the program.

Essential Skills Upgrading: This is a workshop aims to promote adult literacy of parents and caregivers attending the Scarborough East OEYC.

Emergency Preparedness: Are you prepared to deal with emergencies like storms or blackouts. Would you know what to do? Join us to learn what to do and how to be prepared.

Settlement Services: Catholic Cross Cultural Services will be available on Tuesdays to answer any questions you have in regards to the following topics: immigration/citizenship, welfare, housing, education, employment, health, notarization and much more.
