September 2017 Calendar of Events OMC – Main Campus September Events Registration: August 16, 2017 - Registration begins @ 9:00 a.m. online, in our office or by phone. You must register for paid and non-paid events. Call the office if you need any assistance. If you do not have access to a computer and we are registering you for events, it would more beneficial if you come into the office on registration day. If you can’t come into the office, call the office and we will assist you with registration. If we’re busy with registration, leave a message, we will return your call as soon as possible. Payments by check must be received no later than 7 days from the date you register. If payment is not received, your registration will be cancelled & those on the waiting list will be given the opportunity to attend. A separate check must be written for each event. September 1st: Ochsner bus fee will increase to $7.00 per person September 8th: Creole Queen Paddlewheeler Cruise $50.00 per person (Includes a narrated cruise, creole lunch buffet, guided tour of Chalmette Battlefield & motorcoach transportation) Departure: 9:00 a.m. – Ochsner River Road Entrance Return: 2:00 p.m. – Ochsner River Road Entrance September 12th: Seminar –Love It, Like It, Hate It Poducts Presented by: Rebecca Miller, RD – Ochsner Fitness Center 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Center for Primary Care & Wellness - Camellia Rooms A & B Light refreshments provided! September 14th: Members’ Monthly Meeting 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Caldwell/Lejeune Rooms Light refreshments provided! September 15th: Members’ Potluck Lunch (Each participating member must bring a prepared or store purchased item to share with members during the event) 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. - Brent House – Caldwell Room September 19th: Orphan Train Museum, Soileau’s Restaurant (Lunch “on your own”) & Billy Homemade Boudin & Cracklins (Bring a small ice chest to pack your goodies to take home) $25.00 (Motorcoach transportation payable to Golden Opportunity) plus a $3.00 tour fee (to be paid on arrival at the museum). Departure: 7:00 a.m. – Ochsner Hospital River Road Entrance Return: 4:30 p.m. - Ochsner Hospital River Road Entrance All GO events are subject to change. Ochsner Golden Opportunity has the right to adjust events without formal notice. All events are non-refundable (includes the $7.00 Ochsner bus fee) except when someone is on the waiting to take your place. Golden Opportunity has to guarantee payment to vendors for most events.

(Single Occupancy) December 7, 2017 – MC Annual Christmas Party @ Chateau Estates Country Club - Music by Candy Riedl Lowe $53.00 p.p. – (Members can drive themselves to the event. Transportation will be provided for only 32 members at an additional cost, if needed.)
