Dear Parents, Carers, Governors and Friends, Welcome back after the half term break. The children were obviously very busy last week and have brought in some fantastic Home Learning , thank you for all your support with this. This half term is very short – only 4 weeks and 4 days and we have lots to pack in – please note the dates below. There has been a lot going on this week already, below is a flavour, however it has not been possible to put everything in the newsletter so please do look on the website for more information. Enjoy your weekend Kath Margetts and Staff

Just a reminder that World Book Day takes place on Thursday 3rd March 2016, the children are invited to celebrate this special day by dressing up as

their favourite book character!

We will be giving away two £5 scholastic book vouchers to the child with the best or most creative costume in KS1 and KS2. The voucher can be redeemed at the Scholastic Book Fair. Please also send in your decorated banners ASAP! Another Plea for donations! Books – we would be grateful for any books you no longer need that are in good condition as we are re-stocking our library as part of our drive to improve reading resources throughout the school. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who have been giving up their time to help to go through our library stock. We will be purchasing lots of new books very soon for the children to explore.
