For immediate release July 6th, 2015

Evacuees assisted by Emergency Social Services and Canadian Red Cross North Battleford is sheltering evacuees from the fires in northern Saskatchewan, and those people are being assisted by Emergency Social Services and the Canadian Red Cross. Emergency Social Services and the Red Cross is providing services, shelter, clothing and other needs of people affected by the fires. The City of North Battleford Leisure Services, is providing activities from its recreational facilities for free to evacuees. Currently Emergency Social Services and the Red Cross has everything they require to assist the evacuees in North Battleford. The City, Emergency Social Services and the Red Cross is in continuous communication, and if the Red Cross requires any assistance from the public, we will put out the call for assistance. We appreciate the support from our citizens, thank you.
