This resource kit for Japanese language learners introduces 16 significant artworks from the Art Gallery of NSW Japanese collection, and draws on the expertise in Japanese language of the Japan Foundation, Sydney, and in arts education of the Art Gallery of NSW. The trial versions of Marugoto: Nihon no kotoba to

☆「日本語で書くということ」 「日本語で読むということ」 「日本語が亡びるとき」
水村美苗著 「日本語が亡びるときー英語の世紀の中で」は第 8 回 （2009 年） 小林秀雄賞を受賞 しました。豊かな国民文学 を生み出してきた日本語が、「英語の世紀」の中で「亡び る」とはどういうことか? 日本語をめぐる認識の根底を深く揺り 動かす水村美苗の書き下ろし問題作です。他に「日本語 で書くということ」「日本語で読むということ」も蔵書に加えまし た。 Nihongo ga horobiru toki – Eigo no seiki no naka de was awarded the 8th Hideo Kobayashi Prize in 2009. What does it mean to say that that the Japanese language originating from the rich traditions of Japanese literature is perishing in the “Age of English?” That is the question posed in Minae Mizumura’s work, which rocks the very foundations of our perception of Japanese language. Her other works “Nihongo de kaku to iu koto” and “Nihongo de yomu to iu koto” have also been added to our collection.

日本語初級者にも漢字を楽しみながら学習できる本 3 冊をご紹介します。「はじめての漢字えほん」と「漢字えほん」はそれ ぞれ楽しいイラストとともに段階をふみながら無理なく学習できるよう工夫されています。又、「ドラえもんの国語おもしろ攻略 歌ってかける小学漢字 1006」では小学校で習う全漢字を歌を歌いながらリズムよく楽しく書けるように紹介されています。
We have added three new books that enable even beginner level Japanese learners to enjoy studying kanji to our collection. Hajimete no kanji ehon and Kanji ehon both enable learners to gently build their kanji knowledge through enjoyable pictures. Doraemon no kokugo omoshiro kouryaku utatte kakeru shougaku kanji 1006 introduces every kanji studied at Japanese elementary schools by teaching the reader to write the kanji to the rhythm of fun songs.
