Be green like a pro, by conserving H20! We can all do our part to continue to monitor and evaluate our water usage. Take and implement a few of the tips below to help conserve our precious resource:
4 C ompare water usage reports from the prior year and understand water usage benchmarks for your business.
4 Install low flow and water efficient fixtures in restrooms and kitchens
4R eplace old sprinklers with low flow drip lines and dial back watering to no more than two days a week
4 L imit garbage disposal use by using a strainer to collect food scraps and discarded restaurant waste
4 A udit results and make your employees part of the process.
Help Our Drivers Continue To Be Safe During the summer months children are playing outside, riding bikes and taking walks with family & friends. Mission Trail Waste Systems (Mission Trail) collection drivers are trained to be conscious of more children out and about this time of year. Our team of professionals needs you and your family to be aware of our drivers. Remember to wave, make eye contact and wait for the driver to acknowledge you before you cross the street in front of a Mission Trail collection truck. Keeping our children safe is everyone’s responsibility, especially on our roadways, driveways and parking lots.
Got Old Household Batteries? Place your unwanted A, AA, AAA, C, D, 6 & 9-volt, rechargeable, camera, watch, hearing aide & clock batteries in a clear zipper-lock bag and place them on the lid of your blue recycling cart. The driver will collect the bag before servicing your cart and will dispose of them properly.
