Catholic Ways to Pray A good resource to continue to unpack this year’s theme for Catechetical Sunday is The Catholic Way to Pray: An Essential iiiiiiiiiiiiiii Guide for Adults by iiiiiiiiiiiiiii Kathleen Glavich, SND. Sr. Kathleen iiiiiiiiiiiiiii explores our long, rich iiiiiiiiiiiiiii history of ways to pray iiiiiiiiiiiiiii and offers very practical suggestions to iiiiiiiiiiiiiii jumpstart one’s prayer life as a Catholic. This resource is excellent for all Catholic adults including catechists, catechumens and candidates.

Wondering how to vote this year?

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii “Voting Catholic” is a new video from Busted Halo which can help Catholics who are trying to sort out how to vote amid the complicated social, economic, moral and political realities facing our country. The video encourages Catholics to look to what the church teaches as a guide for voting in any election. Specifically suggested are the USCCB’s document “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship” and four principles of Catholic Social Teaching: the dignity of the human person, subsidiarity, the common good, and solidarity.

Remember Pope Francis’ 2015 visit to the U. S.? Just about one year ago Pope Francis spoke to the U.S. Congress. In that talk he highlighted the hallmarks of our political system and named the challenges we face as a country in the global context. As we near election day, now, more than ever, we need to go back and recall his words to us as we discern

our country’s future leadership and our own participation in the political process. This reflective video from the Center of Concern will help do that.
