James Minor is the Milling Division President for Swank Construction Company. James joined Swank in 2013 and has successfully run the division for two years. During James’s first year in the business, he was exposed to all aspects of road milling – including a fair amount of time spent jackhammering! In 2014, James scheduled the division’s milling crews and was responsible for managing the logistics of Swank Construction Company assets. In 2015, James took over all operations for the Milling Division and in 2016 officially became President. Prior to his career at Swank Construction Company, James traded US Treasury Bonds and other financial derivatives for a proprietary trading firm in Chicago. James graduated from Denison University with a BA in Economics and concentration in Mathematics. James currently lives in suburb of Pittsburgh, PA with his wife, two small children and two dogs.
