BOARD/ADMINISTRATION WORK SESSION FOR DISCUSSION ON DISTRICT GOALS OF THE GILBERT COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD District Office Conference Room August 13, 2018 At 4:33 p.m. a board/administration work session of the Gilbert Community School Board of Directors for the purpose of discussing district goals was called to order by Vice President Brian Anderson with the following members answering roll call: Tyler Holck, Kim Mosiman, Deb Ordal and John Nelson arrived at 4:49 p.m. Administration present: Supt. Lindsey Beecher, Carrie Clark, Staci Edwards, Amy Griffin, Tim Pezzetti, and Mike Danilson arrived at 5:08 p.m. Motion by Mosiman, second by Holck to approve the agenda. Motion carried unanimously. The purpose of this work session was to discuss district goals. Nelson arrived at 4:49 p.m. Deb Ordal opened with background information on the process of the Long-Term District Goals. She requested feedback from the administration and board members. There was lengthy discussion on when the appropriate time would be for a third party to facilitate a work session on district goals and how/when to communicate to the public about how to get involved in the process of district goals. Motion by Holck, second by Anderson to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 5:59 p.m.
