BOARD/ADMINISTRATION TEAM WORK SESSION FOR LONG RANGE FACILTY PLAN OF THE GILBERT COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD District Office Conference Room OCTOBER 30, 2017 At 3:03 p.m. a board/administration team work session for the purpose of long range facility planning of the Gilbert Community School Board of Directors was called to order by President John Nelson with the following members answering roll call: Brian Anderson, Tyler Holck Kim Mosiman, John Nelson and Deb Ordal. Administration present: Supt. Lindsey Beecher, Principals Mike Danilson, Staci Edwards, Vic Vanderpool and Amy Griffin, Curriculum Director Carrie Clark and Athletic Director Tim Pezzetti. Guests present: John Haila and Sam Stagg, representing Haila A/S/P Ltd, Travis Squires, representing Piper Jaffray, and visitors Tom Barragy, Mark Chasey and Rick Perrin. Motion by Holck, second by Mosiman to approve the agenda. Motion carried unanimously. For approximately one hour, Travis Squires provided the board with capital financing, bonding capacity and comprehensive 5 year financial planning information showing the impact on the general fund. John Haila provided a one hour presentation to the board of the updated Phase 2-Facility Study Report. The update represented the administrators’ priority recommendations, requested by the board at the October 16th board work session. Rick Perrin addressed the board regarding the board’s plan for softball/baseball. Motion by Holck, second by Ordal to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
