Testing and certification: 1. Supplied seating must meet current ANSI/BIFMA X5.4-2012 standards and must be tested by a US based, independent UL and BIFMA certified test facility. Independent test results must be provided with submittals. Products that have not been tested and passed to current ANSI/BIFMA X5.4-2012 standards by a certified UL and BIFMA test facility will not be accepted. 2. Fire-Test-Response Compliance: a. Fabric: Class 1 according to DOC CS 191 and 16 CFR 1610.61, tested according to California Technical Bulletin 117 b. Cushioning: California Technical Bulletin 117. 3. Electrical Components: Listed and labeled per NFPA 70, Article 100 by a testing agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction.
