Dave Discusses I am writing this in the middle of a February snowstorm but it has been a mild winter so far and Punxsutawney Phil cast no shadow so an early spring is in the forecast! After the Polar Vortex of 2015, I am very happy with an early spring. Spring means baseball, and what better way to start the season then attending our Cleveland Indians Opening Day party on Monday, April 4. The free event features ballpark snacks like nachos, peanuts, popcorn, cotton candy and more. While there is no fee, we are collecting food donations for the Feed Lake County food drive, see front cover for complete details. Spring also means it’s time to get out and join one of our recreation clubs. The center has two hiking clubs, one meets on Monday’s at 6pm starting in April, the other one meets year-round on Thursdays at 10am. If you like to bike, join us on Wednesday morn')8.*6!8'))')8*9/,'0*:;*%)"*'+*7(#*0'5!*&(*-.1;* join us the third Tuesday of the month for outings and guest speakers. No matter what you decide to do, we hope to see you out and about this spring!
