MECHANICAL AND AEROSPACE ENGINEERING APPROVED TECHNICAL ELECTIVES Mechanical Engineering students must select four technical electives. Two must be MAE xxx elective courses which are MAE courses not required for the ME degree. The other two technical electives may be any combination of MAE xxxx elective courses or courses described in items 1 and 2 below. Aerospace Engineering students must select three technical electives which can be any MAE course not required for the AE degree or courses described in items 1 and 2 below. 1.

In general, any SEAS course, 3000 level or above or any 2000 level course required as a minor in that discipline with the following exceptions: a. b.

No ENGR courses allowed except ENGR 4880 Business and Technical Leadership in Engineering No STS courses allowed except STS 4110 The Business of New Product Development and STS 2620 Science and Technology Public Policy
