Pre-K News May 2, 2014 Pre-Kindergarten Graduation Please remember to send your child’s Friday folder back to school with him/her on Monday’s. Thank you!! We have continued to have lots of fun listening to different fairy tales. We have finished up some really cute projects. The Pre-K is really having fun with our other Pre-K friends from Mrs. Rosas’ room. They come down to our classroom for morning meeting, and then we have some play time with them at the end of the day. During morning meeting we have a great time singing, dancing and learning! Mrs. Rosas has some really fun song we love to dance to! We are still working on beginning and ending sounds of words. We are starting to sound words out and blend them together. To read words! We are also working hard on writing our numbers to 20 and beyond. We play write the numbers in order as well as out of order. Some of us are writing to 100! We are so proud of our accomplishments! NEXT WEEKS THEME:

He will then make a DVD of pictures from throughout the year, and the entire graduation, for sale if you are interested. I believe the cost will be around $12. Attached is the order form. Please have the
students here at 6:00 pm! We will get them ready, so you can head to the auditorium to get good seats. We will sing some songs, dance, and graduate. The students will be in caps and gowns, so please make sure they are in comfy clothes. (We move a lot during the program.)

Classroom Jobs Each week your student has a job. This will help them to understand responsibility and make our classroom a real community! I will send home a list of everyone’s job from this past week, so you can discuss it with them at home. (This will also help if they can’t remember their job!)
