Please remember to send your child’s Friday folder back to school with him/her on Monday’s. Thank you!! We have had another great week learning about insects. This week the kids have been so engaged in learning facts about different insects. We were able to watch some really awesome things on YouTube. I think one of the class favorites was ants making tunnels in a gel container. It was very interesting to see what the ants were able to tunnel in such a short amount of time. We also learned about giant honey bees, grasshoppers and mosquitoes. Next week: Ocean life
LIBRARY BOOKS The library is closed for the school year. It is time for them to do inventory, and get all of the books back. If your child has a library book out, please return it to school as soon as possible! Thank you!!
SACK LUNCH Your student will need to bring a sack lunch on the last day of school. We will be eating outside weather permitting! Thank you for your cooperation! Classroom Jobs Each week your student has a job. This will help them to understand responsibility and make our classroom a real community! I will send home a list of everyone’s job from this past week, so you can discuss it with them at home. (This will also help if they can’t remember their job!)
