Founded in 1884, Northwestern State University of Louisiana has met educational needs through quality academic  programming for over 125 years.  Today, Northwestern State is a responsive, student‐oriented institution that is  committed to the creation, dissemination, and acquisition of knowledge through teaching, research, and service.   Recognizing the power of technology to bring educational opportunity to all students, Northwestern now delivers  39 fully accredited online degree programs, and 20 online certifications.  NSU also accepts DANTES, CLEP, and  Challenge‐By‐Exam credits.   

The office of NSU@Marksville, located in the Tunica‐Biloxi Cultural and Educational Resource Center, is here to  encourage and assist students in achieving their educational goals. The campus offers a variety of classes on‐site, as  well as exam proctoring for students who are enrolled in online classes.  NSU@Marksville is located at the Tunica‐ Biloxi Cultural and Educational Resources Center, 150 Melancon Rd., Room 130, Marksville, LA 71351.
