[email protected] Iowa CareGivers’ “A Call to Leadership” For Those Who Work in Direct Care Hosted by NCC in Sheldon On April 8, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Iowa CareGivers, in cooperation with Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC), will host a one day program for those who work in the field of direct care. “A Call to Leadership: A Direct Care Professional's Guide to Developing Leadership Skills” is being held at NCC, 603 West Park Street, Building A, Room 116-119. “A Call to Leadership” is designed for Home Care Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, Direct Support Professionals, and others who work in the field of direct care. These individuals provide most of the direct hands on care and services to Iowans of all ages and in many different locations. The purpose of the program is to provide this vitally important sector of Iowa’s workforce an opportunity to strengthen their skills as leaders within their chosen field of direct care. The program is engaging and interactive. Class size is limited so those interested are encouraged to register early.
