Local NCAE Organizing & Membership Plan 2016-17 Our NCAE 2.0 organizing and membership focus continues to move forward under the theme: ALL in! The overall goals consist of an increased and engaged membership. To accomplish these goals governance and staff will collaborate to: 1. Engage new educators in 1:1 conversations to promote membership in NCAE. 2. Engage members and potential members with relevant organizing or advocacy activities, including Campaign 2016 plans 3. Time Frame

A main goal for all locals is to strengthen infrastructure and continue to build capacity. NCAE Board and staff want to assist you and therefore you must share your plans with your Regional Board Members and UniServ Directors. Please use the tools provided during SLC, Tools on the Members only site, and the NCAE membership materials.

For leadership/AR training reimbursement the following requirements must be met by December 10, 2016: 1. 2. 3. 4.

Your local plan is created in collaboration with your executive committee, NCAE BOD or UD and shared with the stakeholders by 9/26/16. You conduct a kick-off AR training and a follow up AR training on the nuts and bolts of being a school leader, and how to conduct 1:1 conversations. Regularly share 1:1 conversation data with your NCAE UniServ and submit data for Early Career Educators Campaign to [email protected] in a timely manner. Members and potential members receive digital information on NEA/NCAE. Reimbursement will be based on the following criteria: Training agendas, sign in sheets from Fall AR sessions, budget sheet completed with receipts, and progress on execution of your local organizing/membership plan submitted to Latavia Mayfield:
