Dear Parent/Carer, BTec Science Mock and Formal Exams As you are hopefully aware, your son/daughter is working towards a BTEC qualification in Applied Science. As part of this qualification they will have a formal external exam on Tuesday 4th March. To ensure a successful outcome we have arranged for your son/daughter to have a Mock Exam during their Science lesson on the afternoon of Wednesday 26th February. This will be to practice the style of exam questions and gain experience in the expectations, whilst under formal examination conditions. Feedback on their progress will be given to the students in their lessons. Your son/daughter has been provided with a revision guide to aid their revision preparation. These will need to be returned to their class teacher after the exam on 4th March. Additionally, a workbook with exam practice questions and answers has been provided. The homework over the half-term holiday will be to revise for the exam. I am sure that we can rely on your support to ensure the best possible outcome for your son/daughter at this important time.
