June 6 (Tuesday); GET GOING: “Breakfast and Ballads” La Divina Italian Cafe Acadian Village Shopping Center, 3535 Perkins Rd #360 La Divina Italian Café will host a GO event with entertainment by Wayne Busby. Mr. Busby is a professional singer that sings ballads: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Ray Charles, Elvis, Michael Buble and Barry Manilow, just to name a few. You can order breakfast (on your own) and enjoy some ballads. Seating is limited to 24. 9:00 am – 11:00 am RSVP REQUIRED June 7 (Wednesday): BREAKFAST BUNCH: “The Mind, Body Connection” Presented by: Kimberly Meiners, MD Dr. Meiners will discuss how emotions can affect our health. Poor emotional health can weaken your body's immune system, making you more likely to get colds and other infections during emotionally difficult times. Also, when you are feeling stressed, anxious, or upset, you may not take care of your health as well as you should. 9:30 am - 11:00 am Hospital Classroom Snack Provided RSVP REQUIRED June 27 (Tuesday): ROAD TRIP: Martin Accordion Factory / Prejean’s Restaurant $65.00 per Person (includes transportation and lunch) Depart from Ochsner Plaza II: 8:00 am Return Time: 4:30 pm Martin Accordion is a family-owned business that has been manufacturing and repairing accordions for thirty years. The tour will consist of music with a live band (Joel Martin and the Family Band) and a discussion on making accordions, the history of Cajun music and much more. The family will play Cajun, Country, Gospel and Zydeco music. We will be taken back to the early 1900’s with the old fashion authentic accordion music. We will learn the differences in accordion styles and pointing out the unique features of the Martin accordion. We will be shown the process of making an accordion. After this exciting adventure, we will dine at the famous Prejean’s Restaurant. The menu will consist of: Choice of Appetizer: Chicken and Sausage Gumbo Seafood Stuffed Mushroom Popcorn Crawfish w/ Sherry Wine Sauce Choice of Entrée: Charbroiled Chicken Prejean: Marinated charbroiled chicken breast atop sauce supreme served with Rice Dressing and corn macque choux Crawfish Half & Half: A combination of crawfish Etouffee and fried crawfish tails served around a mound of steamed white rice Shrimp: lightly battered and fried golden brown served with French fries Dessert: Bread Pudding with Jack Daniel's Sauce House salad with homemade parmesan vinaigrette

To better enhance the patient experience two new services at the O’Neal Health Clinic have been added: · To help expedite our registration process, a self-check-in kiosk has been deployed on the first floor of O’Neal. The kiosk is the next step in offering our patients a more innovative experience at Ochsner. Patients can schedule appointments and communicate with their provider through MyOchsner and then check themselves in upon arrival for appointments. We will have representatives available to patients who have questions or need additional assistance when using the kiosk. ·

An Ochsner Retail Pharmacy is now located at the O’Neal Clinic on the first floor in suite 103. The pharmacy will accept all prescription orders and offer additional services such as home delivery with Oscripts, bedside delivery for patients, automatic refills, as well as offer immunizations on-site.
