IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT EUTHANASIA Imagine a day when our shelters have empty cages; a time when no healthy shelter pets are euthanized.

UCAN's mission is to provide professional, lowcost spay/neuter services to end the unnecessary deaths of homeless cats and dogs in shelters in the Greater Cincinnati area, including surrounding counties in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.

2016 Surgeries (thru 5/31/16) Cats: 3,554 Dogs: 2,070 Total: 5,624 85,898 surgeries since opening (through 5/31/16)

Interesting Dog Facts:

A female dog can produce 2 litters of 6-10 puppies each year.

It is happening in cities across the U.S. - and it can happen in Greater Cincinnati, too. YOU can make this dream come true by helping us reduce the number of unwanted pets being born. For our Annual Campaign this Spring, we challenge you to help us fix 500 of Greater Cincinnati's most at-risk animals; to give them the fighting chance they deserve. Did you know that the #1 risk factor for a pet entering a shelter is not being fixed? Every day we are contacted by pet owners who love their pets very much, but the cost of spaying or neutering is simply out of reach. Please help us save lives by sponsoring just one spay or neuter surgery for as little as $40 for a cat or $75 for a dog. You can make a tax-deductible donation to our Annual Campaign today by clicking on the donate now button! Thank you!

Dogs can become pregnant as early as 5-6 months.
