DEFINITION: Under general supervision, performs clerical and administrative duties in support of the Paratransit division. REPORTS TO: The Assistant Transportation Superintendent (Paratransit), or designee. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •
Processes, sorts, and reconciles Manifests on a daily basis; compares to Cash Log; checks for billing gaps, and confirms completeness and accuracy; and calculates billing and payroll totals.

Verifies information provided by Paratransit Drivers, such as completed and uncompleted pick-ups, cover-sheet times, and mileage.
•
Calculates fares due from Manifest destinations, and verifies against Cash Log; reconciles the Cash Log by calculating and verifying coupon totals; and calculates total due.
•
Enters daily payroll totals in the Payroll-Revenue Hours summary; and confirms and balances totals.
•
Prepares Damage Notices, and alerts the Assistant Transportation Superintendent when necessary.
•
Reconciles invoices by matching payments received from Treasury with applicable invoices; and records necessary information, such as liquidated damage deductions.

Performs data-entry, photocopies documents, and maintains a variety records and files, including Manifests.
•
Checks-in Paratransit drivers; collects keys, radio, and defect cards and compares to report log; and counts cash and coupon and records information in the Cash Log and Manifest.
•
Opens, sorts, and distributes received mail; and mails or delivers documents to Intellitran, and various District departments.
•
Maintains continual communication with Partransit drivers, Intellitran, and pertinent District departments; and responds to questions and inquiries.

Performs related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge Of: Standard business software including currently used programs for spreadsheets and word processing at an intermediate level; standard office business equipment including personal computers, typewriters, calculators, and copiers; basic record keeping principles and procedures; standard business English; basic mathematics; and modern office methods, practices and procedures. Ability To: Maintain organized and accurate computer-based and paper files and spreadsheets; accurately input data into spreadsheets and databases in a timely manner, check for accuracy, make needed revisions, and edit accordingly; maintain inventories; keyboard accurately at a speed of thirty (30) net words per minute; learn and maintain adherence to applicable provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other pertinent state and Federal rules and regulations; perform basic mathematical computations; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; problem solve; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with District personnel using principles of good customer service.
Education: Equivalent to completion of the 12th grade. Experience: Two (2) years of full-time general clerical experience, including the use of personal computers and commonly used programs for word processing and spreadsheets. Special Requirements: None.
