Thursday, May 18, 2017 9:00 am - 3:30 pm Notre Dame Retreat Center, Canandaigua, NY By our baptism, we are each chosen to be bearers of the Good News to our world. We work at this day in and day out. How can this seemingly endless work continue if we do not allow ourselves to be ministered to? Take a moment for nourishment, refreshment and renewal. Schedule: 9:00 am 9:30 am 10:00 am – noon Noon – LUNCH 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Gather for refreshments Prayer Presentation and reflection on Discipleship; the Call and the Life Presentation and reflection on Nurturing and Sustaining the Call; God Calls, We Respond!
The day will include presentations, time for personal reflection and sharing. Grounded in the spirituality of call and response, we will deepen our understanding of our call to ministry and name both what strengthens us as well as that which saps our energy. We will have time for naming achievable and practical suggestions as we move forward on the journey. Most importantly, as we enjoy the community gathered, we will understand more clearly the power of community as a support and haven.

$40 (includes continental breakfast and lunch) Two new elements: 1. All ministers need nourishment, refreshment and renewal, so we invite you to bring others on your staff- those involved in faith formation, music, and other aspects of ministry. 2. Come early and spend the night. Notre Dame welcomes anyone who might like to come Wednesday evening- those who come from a long distance, or would like to begin the retreat with a gathering the evening before. There is no specific cost, but they do accept a donation for the room, and depending on how many decided to spend the night. Dinner is not included, but depending on the number, we would work out something together.
