Financial Analyst - Capital Markets (Investment Product Analyst) Introduction to Inland Private Capital Corporation: Inland Private Capital Corporation (“IPC Corp.”) is a part of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc., (“Inland.”) The Inland entities have been engaged in diverse facets of real estate such as real estate management, leasing, marketing, acquisition, disposition, development, redevelopment, renovation, construction, finance and other related services for over forty years. As of March 31, 2013, Inland and its affiliates have more than 1,500 employees, own properties in 49 states and manage assets with a book value exceeding $20.2 billion. IPC Corp. offers private placement offerings to accredited investors, which offerings generally consist of a single property or a single fund of properties and/or other real estate related investments. Since it was established in 2001, IPC Corp. has sponsored approximately 157 private placement programs, which includes with an aggregated price totaling over $2 billion. The Capital Markets Group is looking for a dynamic individual who is an eager and quick learner. This person will be the liaison between the Structuring and Financing team and the Capital Markets team. This person will be involved in reviewing potential acquisitions for our various private placement programs, including a variety of asset classes, such as office, industrial, retail, and multifamily property investments spanning varied geographic regions. Additionally, the position involves a great deal of interaction with our Broker/Dealers and financial advisors in communicating the 1031 process, investment strategies for private placement investing, as well as specific deal details. The team is headed by its President, Chief Operating Officer, and currently includes an Investment Product Manager, a Manager of Broker Dealer Relations, and 4 Internal Product Specialists. Responsibilities:              

Review potential acquisitions of commercial properties and other real estate related investments Cash flow, syndication, and stress-test models Evaluate tenant strength and market conditions Review findings and risks regarding the above Understand the due diligence process for transactions, including site visits and review of leases, appraisals, environmental reports, property condition reports, and title documents Review and become familiar with offering memorandum for the private placement programs Liaison with Broker/Dealer home office personnel to answer questions and provide pertinent information on each deal Liaison with 3rd party due diligence providers on each deal Respond to special requests and prepare sales reports, etc. Assist with preparation of Broker/Dealer annual review reports Provides technical sales support to the Inland sales team Assist with preparation of various marketing pieces, presentations, newsletters, etc. Conducts ongoing competitive analysis on peer group product offerings. Responsible for providing updates to Sharepoint system

Qualifications & Experience:      

1-3 years’ experience in related work Skilled with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong analytical skill Excellent verbal and written communication skills FINRA Series 7 or 22 license a plus Degree in Economics, Finance, or real estate related coursework. Similar area of study also acceptable.
