Develop and Build Your IT Skills If you are looking to improve your skills we offer courses for those who already understand the basics and are ready to move on. Our Improvers classes help you to build on the skills you have learned in beginners, while our IT Open Workshops allow you to decide what it is you want to learn. Bring along your own projects and problems to our expert staff and get the support you need. Creative IT Learn to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign at beginners and intermediate level. Qualifying to Work with IT Digital Skills – Getting Started (Entry Level 3) teaches you how to get the most from your computer, how to use and enjoy today’s online digital services and gain skills that employers are increasingly looking for in the workplace.
ECDL Essentials (Level 1) is an excellent introduction to the world of technology. The units cover getting started on a computer, email and the Internet, with a particular focus on how they are used safely and productively. ECDL Extra (Level 2) builds on your basic knowledge and experience to improve your understanding of computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software. You must complete our preparation course before enrolling onto our ECDL courses: • Prepare for ECDL Level 1 • ECDL Essentials Level 1 • ECDL Extra Level 2

After 8 months of being off on maternity leave I was worried I had forgotten how to communicate. When I started my ECDL course last September I didn’t realise how it will change my level of confidence to start working. I was able to resume my work where my new skill has really benefited me and my employer who always turns to me when they are in need of an engaging leaflet, banner or newsletter. I really enjoyed being part of a fabulous group where all the members became very good friends. No matter how tired I was, the class was very relaxed. I am grateful to all my amazing teachers who encouraged me to work harder and achieve my goal.
