of Maharashtra, in all matters relating to forest science, forest works and forest administration that it may be deemed necessary by the Principal Director of the said school to teach the said Forest Guard AND WHEREAS the Government has also agreed to pay the Forest Guard during the whole period of his stay at the said school, at the rate of Rs. ______________ (Rs.) per month inclusive of allowances permissible AND WHEREAS THE cost of such training including such allowance to be incurred by the Government would amount to Rs. __________________(Rs. ______

NOW THE CONDITION OF THIS BOND IS SUCH THAT IT 1) The Forest Guard shall be required to undergo a training course of specified period at any of the State Forest Guards Training School conducted by the Forest Department and pass a final examination in the said training course within the specified period. In case of failure to complete the training course or pass the final examination during first attempt, the Forest Guard shall be given one more chance to complete the training course and pass the final examination at his own cost. If the Forest Guard is unable to complete the training course or pass the final examination in second chance he shall be liable to be discharged from service and shall be liable to repay all the training costs and the salaries paid to him. 2) The Forest Guard shall be diligent in the prosecution of the studies and faithfully in the observance of the Rule of the school and shall be of good conduct and attend the course regularly and make progress to the entire satisfaction of Principal / Director of the school, while undergoing training, and qualify himself by passing the prescribed examination. 3) The Forest Guard shall not leave the training, without the permission of the Principal / Director of the school, is not rusticated by the Principal / Director of the school of misconduct, negligence or failure to attend the class work, or for illness or indiscipline. 4) During the course of training the concerned Chief Conservator of Forests, (Territorial) M.S. shall receive satisfactory progress reports in regard to the Forest Guard from the Principal / Director of the school. 5) The Forest Guard shall if required so to do serve the Government after completion of his/her services for not less than five years in any post in the Forests Department of the Government of Maharashtra on such pay and allowances as may be prescribed by the Government. 6) During the period of five years during which the Forest Guard is in service the forest Guard shall have performed his duties faithfully, diligently and with efficiency and have observed the rules for the time being in force made by the government regulating the conduct of their servants.

7) Then this Bond shall be of no effect otherwise it shall remain in full force and virtue. And in the event of the forest Guard committing a breach of any of the above terms and conditions,

Provided however, that if the forest Guard leaves the service before the period of five years expires, the amount payable by that Forest Guard to the Government, shall be equivalent to the costs of training including allowances which are in proportion which the number of years bear to that period, by which the forest Guard has left the service earlier, or half the cost of training including allowances, whichever is more and this amount shall become forthwith payable with interest at the rate of 12% P.A. from the date of the Forest Guard leaves the service AND the amount payable hereunder shall without prejudice to the other sureties of the Government, be recoverable from the Forest Guard as arrears of land revenue.
