At Key Stage 3 students study a variety of software and hardware developments to build skills in planning, assessment, e-safety, ICT design and programming. This comes in the form of; website creation, graphic design, animation, modelling in spread sheets, modelling algorithms and by using a variety of programming languages to develop websites, games and more. Year 7 Flash animation Scratch game design History and Future of ICT Searching the Internet effectively App Design Graphic Design Year 8 Python programming Spread sheet skills HTML web design Database design Inside a computer 3D Graphic Design Year 7 and Year 8 are assessed using a bespoke Application for North Liverpool Academy built around National Curriculum standards and Computing at Schools Guidelines. Independent learning is a key focus at Key Stage 3. All students are given home learning that can include written answers or research activities. Computers are available after school in a home work club.
