Kaziranga National Park Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, Kaziranga National Park covers an area of approximately 430sq-kms. This park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of onehorned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. The site is on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River at the foot of the Mikir Hills. The riverine habitat consists primarily of tall, dense grasslands interspersed with open forests, interconnecting streams and numerous small lakes. The park contains about 15 species of India's threatened mammals. Other mammals include capped langur, a small population of hoolock gibbon, tiger Panthera tigris, leopard, sloth bear, Ganges dolphin, otter, wild boar, water buffalo, gaur, sambar, swamp deer, hog deer and Indian muntjac.

อุทยำนแห่งชำติกำจิรังคำ อุทยานแห่งชาติกาจิรังคา อุทยานแห่งชาติกาจิรังคา ตั้งอยู่บน ฝั่งแม่น้าพรหมบุตรทาง ตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศ อินเดีย รัฐอัสสัม อุทยานแห่งชาติกา จิรังคา ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ 430 ตาราง กิโลเมตรโดยประมาณ ซึ่งอุทยาน แห่งนี้เป็นหนึ่งในพื้นที่สุดท้ายในอินเดียตะวันออกที่ไม่ถูกรบกวนโดยมนุษย์ อุทยานเป็นถิ่นอาศัยของแรดอินเดียที่มีจานวนมากที่สุดในโลก รวมไปถึงสัตว์ เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเสือโคร่ง เสือดา ช้าง หมีป่า และนกนานา พันธุ์ อุทยานแห่งชาติกาจิรังคาประกอบไปด้วยทุ่งหญ้ากว้างขวาง ลุ่มน้าท่วม ถึง และป่าไม้เขตร้อนหนาแน่น อุทยานยังประกอบด้วยแหล่งน้าขนาดเล็ก จานวนมาก อีกทั้งยังมี 15 สายพันธุ์ของสัตว์เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมที่ถกู คุกคาม และ สัตว์เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมอื่นๆ เช่น ค่าง ชะนีคิ้วขาว เสือโคร่ง เสือดาว หมีสลอธ ปลาโลมา หมีป่า ควาย นาก กวาง เนื้อทราย และสัตว์เลื้อยคลานประเภท ตัวเงินตัวทอง งูเห่า งูจงอาง เป็นต้น
